TVS has launched the Ntorq 125 at a price of Rs 58,750 (ex-showroom,Delhi). The scooter is being positioned as a premium lifestyle product aimed at the youth.
The Ntorq 125 sports an aggressive and edgy styling all through. The scooter gets an attractive alloy wheel design along with a uniquely-styled stubby exhaust to boost its appeal. It also gets LED lighting for the headlamp and tail lamp along with turn indicators integrated in the steering unit.
The scooter boasts of first-in-class features like Bluetooth-enabled mobile connectivity which can be accessed via the ‘Ntorq’ app. It also gets a fully-digital instrument cluster that displays a navigation assist, top-speed recorder, lap timer, phone battery display, last parked location assist, service reminder, trip meter along with the basic information.
Powering the scooter is a 124cc engine that produces 9.3bhp at 7500rpm and 10.5Nm of torque at 5500rpm. TVS has also equipped the Ntorq 125 with an engine kill switch; first on any scooter available in India.
The scooter is currently available only in the disc variant; however the drum variant is expected to follow soon. The Ntorq 125’s colour palette includes yellow, green, red and white- all in a matte shade.
The Ntorq 125 will go head on against the Honda Grazia, the Suzuki Access 125 and the upcoming Aprilia SR 125 which will be launched in the next few days.
