- TVS expands its product portfolio in Sri Lanka
- Launches Ntorq 125 Race Edition
- Standard model has received a favourable response in the country
TVS Motor Company has expanded its portfolio in Sri Lanka by launching the Ntorq 125 Race Edition in the country. It is a fancier, more feature-packed version of the standard Ntorq which was launched in India in September 2019. Looking at the favourable response for the standard Ntorq in Sri Lanka, TVS has introduced the Race Edition to provide a more premium option to the customers.
While the design of the Ntorq is already sporty, the Race Edition looks further eye-catchy courtesy of the edgy graphics across its bodywork. It comes in a three-tone colour scheme comprising of matte black, metallic black and red. What’s more, the Race Edition also gets additional features such as a distinctive-looking LED headlamp set up along with LED DRLs. It further gets hazard lamps which can be operated via a button on the handlebar.
Besides these cosmetic changes and added features, the Ntorq 125 Race Edition remains identical to the standard model. It is powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, three-valve motor which produces 9.1bhp and 10.5Nm of peak torque. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends which are suspended by telescopic forks up front and monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is taken care of by a disc-drum combination.
In India, TVS retails the Ntorq 125 Race Edition at Rs 63,475 (ex-showroom, Delhi) which is a premium of around Rs 3,000 over the standard model.
