With the first edition of TVS’ MotoSoul 2019 event held in Goa, the company showcased the recently launched NTorq 125 Race Edition at the venue. MotoSoul 2019 is the two-wheeler manufacturer’s maiden annual event for racing enthusiasts.
The Ntorq 125 Race Edition is a premium version of the standard model. It features a full-LED headlamp with LED DRLs instead of the conventional halogen unit. Besides that, the Race Edition is equiped with a hazard lamp that can be operated by a switch on the handlebar. On the cosmetic front, TVS offers the Race Edition with a three-tone colour scheme comprising of matte black, metallic black and red. It also gets a ‘Race Edition’ decal on the side panels.
Besides the new features and a new livery, the scooter remains the same mechanically. It continues to be powered by a 124cc, single-pot, three-valve motor that puts out 9.1bhp and 10.5Nm. Braking is done by a disc-drum setup while it rides on 12-inch alloy wheels. Damping duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.
TVS has priced the Ntorq 125 Race Edition at Rs 62,995 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company also launched its range of motorcycle riding gear and apparel at the event.
