TVS has introduced the Ntorq 125 Race Edition in the Indian market recently. It gets a few changes to set itself apart from the standard Ntorq 125. We tell you the four main differences between the two scooters.
Cosmetic changes
The Ntorq 125 is aimed at young buyers and hence gets sharp lines and creases to give it an aggressive appeal. The scooter also gets carbon-fiber finished panels on the mid-section and at the rear that adds to the sporty look. Now the TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition also uses the same bodywork as the standard model. However, it comes equipped with a stacked, full-LED headlamp and ‘T’ shaped LED DRLs. It also gets a hazard lamp that can be operated via a switch on the handlebar.
Paint options
TVS is offering the Ntorq 125 Race Edition in a three-tone colour scheme of matte black, metallic black and metallic red. The chequered flag and ‘Race Edition’ graphics complete its race-inspired look. On the other hand, the standard Ntorq 125 is available in seven paint options that include- matte yellow, matte white, matte red, metallic blue, metallic red and metallic grey along with matte silver.
Variants
The Ntorq 125 is offered in two variants- drum brake and disc brake (for the front). Meanwhile, the Ntorq 125 Race Edition is available as a single model with a disc brake at the front. All variants ride on alloy wheels with telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear.
Pricing
TVS has pegged the Ntorq 125 Race Edition at Rs 62,995; a premium of Rs 3,000 over the Ntorq 125 disc brake variant which costs Rs 59,995. Moreover, the Ntorq 125 drum brake variant is even more affordable at Rs 58,872. (All prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
