TVS recently launched the Ntorq 125 Race XP variant in India priced at Rs 83,275. It costs around Rs 5,000 over the Race variant but gets quite a few changes to justify the premium. Here we list all that is new on the TVS Ntorq Race XP.
New colour
The Ntorq 125 Race XP is available in one, tri-tone colour option. It consists majorly of black with white on the front fender and inner panel, and red on the front and side panels. Moreover, the Race XP also gets new graphics and red wheels that significantly add to its sporty character.
Two riding modes
This is the first we’ve heard of a 125cc scooter getting riding modes! And the Ntorq 125 Race XP comes with two; Street and Race modes. While the Race mode is said to improve acceleration and propel the scooter to a top-speed of 98kmph, the Street mode delivers a smoother throttle response and a claimed increase in fuel efficiency.
Voice command feature
The TVS Ntorq 125 was already equipped with Bluetooth connectivity. However, the Race XP variant also gets a first-of-its-kind voice assist feature. It allows the rider to access 15 functions using the Voice Assist feature. These include changing modes, launching navigation, etc. Even the display and SmartXonnect app have been updated on the Ntorq Race XP.
Improved performance
With slight tweaks made to the 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP produces 10bhp; up from 9.25bhp on the other variants. Even the torque has increased from 10.5Nm to 10.8Nm of the Race XP.
