TVS Motor Company has made its sport scooter, the Ntorq 125, even more exciting and youth-oriented by launching its new SuperSquad edition in India. The new version is available in three different paint schemes with each boasting of graphics inspired by a different character from Marvel’s Avengers. TVS has priced the SuperSquad edition of the Ntorq 125 at Rs 77,865 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This is a premium of Rs 2,500 over the Race edition, which was the top-spec model until now.
The Stealth Black colour of the scooter takes inspiration from Black Panther and adorns jet black colour, complemented by purple accents. Whereas, the Invincible Red trim represents Iron Man with a dynamic red colour scheme accompanied by yellow and grey decals. Lastly, the Combat Blue version features Captain America-inspired stickers pasted on blue body panels.
Now, in terms of hardware, the SuperSquad edition is the same as the standard Ntorq with the Race edition-like features. The party piece of the Ntorq 125 continues to be its data-extensive Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster. It also gets a full-LED headlamp and tail lamp along with a large 22-litre under seat storage compartment. Powering the scooter is a 124cc, three-valve engine which produces 9.1bhp and 10.5Nm.
In the 125cc scooter segment, the TVS Ntorq 125 competes against the Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Honda Grazia, Aprilia SR 125 and the Yamaha Ray ZR 125.
