- TVS NTorq 125 teased featuring LED headlamp
- Could be introduced along with BS-VI compliant motor
- Expect new colour options and graphics to be offered
TVS Motor Company has released a teaser video on the NTorq 125 facelift. The short video has been posted by the company on its social media accounts showcasing a completely new headlamp unit with LED units and LED DRL.
TVS had introduced the NTorq 125 in the market with several unique features like Bluetooth connectivity, petal disc front brake, fighter jet-inspired design and not to forget the peppy 125cc motor. However, at the time when competitors were upgrading their two-wheeler products with LED lighting, TVS opted to equip the NTorq 125 with a conventional halogen lamp accompanied by a small LED DRL at the bottom. Now, it seems the manufacturer has taken note of the same and updated the scooter with a full LED headlamp for the upcoming facelift model. The new headlamp design features a four-pod arrangement for the LED lamp and a signature ‘T” shaped LED DRL positioned in the centre of the new unit. The design of the DRL coincides with that of the NTorq 125’s LED tail lamp. Furthermore, the teaser video also suggests a new colour option to be added to the palate along with new graphics to give the scooter a snazzier appeal.
That being covered, considering the fact that other manufacturers have started introducing fuel-injected versions of their popular models, there is a high possibility that TVS might consider launching the NTorq 125 facelift with a BS-VI compliant motor. This way, the company will be able to justify the inevitable price hike for BS-VI compliance by offering a full-LED headlamp and fresh colour options. Expect TVS to launch the NTorq 125 facelift shortly.
