Select TVS dealerships have been offering benefits of up to Rs 2,500 for scooter customers as a part of festive season.
The dealerships are giving out accessories as a part of the standard package for all scooters. Customers of the scooter range which includes the Jupiter, Wego and the Scooty get a parking cover, seat cover, helmet, handle grips and steel guard, which amount to around Rs 2,500. TVS usually doesn’t offer the mirrors and number plate as standard with the scooter, though the offer also covers these essential accessories. Customers of motorcycles have to make do without any discounts or offers.
Last month, TVS clinched the third spot in the Indian two-wheeler industry from Bajaj, driven by the demand for its commuter motorcycles and scooters. Despite the Apache RTR 200 4V creating ripples in the industry, sales of Apache RTR 180 and RTR 160 are showing no signs of slowdown. The Jupiter has held on to the second spot in the scooter segment while the Victor has helped the company improve its share in the commuter motorcycle segment. With these offers, the company will attempt to make the most of the surge in demand during the festive season by luring in more customers.
