TVS Motors has silently launched the updated version of their Phoenix motorcycle in India. This 2015 variant, priced at Rs 51,990 (ex-showroom Delhi), gets a cosmetic update and additional features.
This new iteration of the Phoenix gets some revisions to the front end that includes a dual-tone visor and new pilot lamps. This 2015 model gets new side body panels that sport a new stickering. The fuel tank gets a different cowl and 3D Phoenix logo. The bike is now available in six colours – crimson black, black magic, midnight black, red hot, cherry white and white night.
The additional features include a digital instrument cluster, body coloured pillion grab rail, hazard lamps, contrast stitching on seats and tubeless tyres. A major update on this motorcycle is that it gets equipped with a remote key and bike locator function.
The Phoenix is powered by the same 124.53cc single-cylinder air-cooled petrol engine that produces 11bhp of power and 10.8Nm of torque. This motor comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. TVS Motor claims a fuel efficiency of 67 kmpl for the Phoenix.
The Phoenix is the only 125cc product in the TVS range of motorcycles. This refreshed model should help the company to up the sales numbers of the motorcycle.
The 2015 TVS Phoenix is available in two variants :
TVS Phoenix Drum : Rs 51,990 (ex-showroom Delhi)
TVS Phoenix Disc : Rs 55,899 (ex-showroom Delhi)
