TVS Motor Company has announced two new colours for the Radeon. The commuter motorcycle is now available in Regal Blue and Chrome Purple paint options. The company targets to achieve higher sales during the festive season with the new paint options. The new colours also commemorate the sale of over three lakh units of the Radeon since its launch.
The Radeon is available in two variants – base and Commuter of the Year (COTY) special edition. The base version is available in Royal Purple, Pearl White, Golden Beige, Metal Black, Titanium Grey, Volcano Red and Regal Blue. The special edition, on the other hand, comes in Chrome Black, Chrome Brown and Chrome Purple.
The changes are limited to the addition of new colours. Mechanical specifications continue to include a BS6-compliant, 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine that delivers 8.08bhp of power at 7,350rpm and a maximum torque of 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. The feature list includes the largest seat in the segment, chrome bezel headlamp with DRL, a car-like speedometer, ribbed thigh pads on the petrol tank and a USB charger.
Apart from the new colours, TVS also launched a new Dhaakad campaign. The promotional campaign aims to showcase the motorcycle’s features and Ecothrust Fuel Injection Technology. Commenting about the campaign, Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President (Marketing) – Commuter Motorcycles, Scooters & Corporate Brand, said that the “Dhaakad” campaign engages discerning and progressive Middle India Millennials and highlights how the Ecothrust Fuel Injection technology in TVS Radeon delivers more mileage and better drivability than before.
