TVS has taken the wraps off the updated Raider 125 SmartXonnect. Including the latest model, the Raider 125 is now available in three models: Drum, Disc, and SmartXonnect. Here’s what the newest variant has to offer.
On the design and mechanical front, the TVS Raider SmartXonnect looks identical to the existing models. It features the same LED headlight, youthful styling, compact dimensions, and overall bodywork.
However, it is now equipped with a TFT console featuring Bluetooth connectivity. It’s now equipped with TVS’ SmartXonnect which gives you access to calls, SMS, notifications, voice assistance, and other updates. It even gets turn-by-turn navigation which helps you reach the nearest fuel station via directions on the TFT screen.
Powering the TVS Raider SmartXonnect is the same 124.8cc single-cylinder with the output rated at 11.2 bhp and a torque of 11.2 Nm. Even the five-speed gearbox, front forks, monoshock, front disc, and rear drum brake remain unaltered.
With an asking price of Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom Delhi), the SmartXonnect variant costs about Rs 14,000 more than the drum model and around Rs 6,000 more than the disc brake model. It rivals the Honda SP125, Hero Glamour 125, and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
