- A total of 2,93,418 units sold last month.

TVS has recorded a 21.7 per cent growth in overall sales for April 2018.
The manufacturer sold 2,93,418 units sold last month as compared to the 2,41,007 units it sold in April 2017. Of these, 89,245 were scooters, a 9.6 per cent growth as compared to 81,443 units sold in April 2017. TVS also saw a 31.8 per cent jump in demand for its motorcycles. It sold 1,31,704 units last month against the 99,890 units sold in the same period last year.
The demand for TVS two wheelers in overseas markets grew by 46 per cent. It exported 51,814 units in April 2018 compared to the 35,485 units sold in April 2017. TVS credits most of its sales numbers to the XL 100, Jupiter and Apache in the Indian market. The manufacturer also recently launched the Apache RTR 160 4V and introduced new colours for the Ntorq 125 and the Apache RTR 200 4V. These updates should further boost sales.
