TVS Motor Company has released a new teaser video for its upcoming product that is scheduled to debut on 7 October, 2021. The new teaser video gives a brief glimpse at the LED DRLs along with front turn indicators.
While the company has remained tight-lipped about any details, we expect this new product to be a 125cc scooter that will be sold under the Jupiter brand. This new model will rival the likes of the Honda Activa 125 and the Suzuki Access 125 in the Indian market. The new product is expected to carry a brand new design although it could carry a few styling elements from the Jupiter 110. Among several changes will be a new position for the fuel tank which, according to our sources, will occupy the space near the floorboard. The revised position of the fuel tank is aimed to increase the under seat storage space.
The details about the mechanical specifications are scarce, although TVS Motor Company may borrow the existing motor from the Ntorq 125. The tuning could be slightly different from the existing sporty scooter in the company’s line-up.
