- TVS ARIVE mobile application introduced
- Provides AR-based vehicle viewing and buying experience
- Also available in a 3D mode for smartphones not supporting AR
Two-wheeler manufacturers have turned their attention towards making online buying experience easier for the customers, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. With an aim to do the same, TVS Motor Company has rolled a new smartphone application, TVS ARIVE, which is claimed to transform the product inspection and booking experience for the customers.
The TVS ARIVE comes with three modes – ‘Place to explore’, ‘Scan a real bile’ and ‘3D mode’. The first two modes work using augmented reality (AR) technology. The ‘Place to explore’ mode allows the user to inspect a TVS offering in augmented form by offering a 360-degree view, and zoom in and zoom out function. Meanwhile, the ‘Scan a real bike’ mode, as the name suggests, scans a real motorcycle and lets the user scrutinise all of its features with an x-ray-like view and detailed explanation. As for the ‘3D mode’, it is available for smartphones that don’t support AR functionality but gives an experience similar to the aforementioned two modes.
Other features of the TVS ARIVE application include ‘Sell Through Process’ for last-mile connectivity, scheduling test rides, locating nearest dealers and booking a vehicle online. One can also view product dimensions, videos and detailed specifications of TVS two-wheelers. The mobile application is available for Android and iOS customers both.
