TVS Motor Company announced a two per cent increase in the overall sales for July 2015. The company sold 2,18,321 units last month as compared to 214,324 units sold in July 2014. This includes two-wheelers as well as three-wheelers.
The overall two-wheeler sales report also shows a hike as the company overall sold 2,08,044 units in July this year in comparison to the 2,05,360 units sold in the same month in 2014. The exports also grew by 15 per cent with 42,677 units sold last month as against 36,986 units in the corresponding month in 2014.
Scooter sales grew by 10 per cent during the same period, with 69,626 units sold in July 2015 as against 63,250 units in July 2014. The motorcycle sales went down as the manufacturer could sell 77,397 units in July 2015. They had sold 80,658 units in the corresponding period in 2014.
TVS Motor Company is gearing up for the extensive launch strategy they have planned. They aim to introduce the new range of Apache motorcycles by the end of this year. With the addition of a new motorcycle to the 250cc segment, they will make their presence felt in this segment that was untouched by the company yet.
