The BS6-compliant TVS Scooty Zest 110 is expected to be launched in India sometime soon. So before it is launched in the market, we list down the specs, features, and detail of the upcoming scooter from TVS.
Styling
The Scooty Zest 110 was introduced in 2014 as an enthusiastic and peppy take on the Scooty Pep Plus. And ever since then, the Zest 110 has remained almost the same visually. It gets the silhouette of the Pep although with slightly more aggressive styling. So there is the angular fascia with inbuilt turn indicators and an LED DRL. The rear too is well contoured and sports a unique design tail lamp and turn signal setup. Nevertheless, the BS6-compliant Scooty Zest 110 is likely to remain in terms of styling and is likely to be offered in the same Matte and Himalayan series.
Features
The BS6 Scooty Zest 110 is expected to carry forward the list of features from the previous model which offered an LED DRL, LED tail lamp, dual-tone seat cover, parking brake as well as a USB charger. Furthermore, the BS4 model’s white-background analogue speedometer with fuel gauge and odometer is expected to be seen on the BS6 model too.
Engine
Here is probably the biggest change in the updated Scooty Zest 110. While it will continue to be powered by a 109cc engine, the motor will now get a fuel-injection system to make it BS6-compliant. Moreover, these tweaks could result in a change in power figures as compared to the previous model’s 7.8bhp and 8.4Nm output.
Pricing
TVS had pegged the BS4 Scooty Zest 110 at Rs 52,525 for the Himalayan Highs version and Rs 54,025 for the Matte series(ex-showroom). However, as compared to the previous model, we can expect the BS6 Scooty Zest 110 to be priced at a premium of around Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000.
