Sherco TVS Factory Rally team has managed to maintain the lead in Stage 2 of the Panafrica Rally 2017.
The team had earlier attained the lead when riders Joan Pedrero and AdrienMetge secured first and second position respectively in Stage 1 of the rally. Both the riders continued holding their position in Stage 2, while third rider, Arvind KP, jumped up two places from 11th position in Stage 1 to 9th position in Stage 2. The riders are using the rally-spec RTR 450 and are competing with motorcycles from manufacturers like KTM, Yamaha, Husqvarna, Honda and Hero.
The 2017 Panafrica Rally is being held in Morocco from 24 September to 30 September. The rally consists of five stages covering roughly 1400kms with motorcycles, quads and off-road 4x4 vehicles participating.
