TVS launched a special edition model of its commuter bike, the Sport, to mark this festive season. The TVS Sport Special Edition price starts at Rs 40,088 (ex-showroom) and it is available in two variants, including kick start and electric start, both with alloy wheels. The bike is available in black colour with two decal options; red with silver and blue with silver.
The TVS Sport Special Edition comes with an optional feature of synchronized braking technology (STD) which is similar to the combined braking system (CBS). Other changes on the special edition model are majorly cosmetic. It sports new set of decals, 3D brand logo along with slightly restyled rear-view mirrors. Moreover, it also gets a longer single seat unit and wider pillion grab rail.
The TVS Sport Special Edition is powered by the same 100cc, carburetor engine which generates 7.4bhp of power and 7.5Nm of torque. Braking is handled by drum brakes on both ends while suspension duties are carried out by telescopic forks on the front and five-stage adjustable hydraulic suspensions at the rear.
The TVS Sport goes up against the Hero HF Dawn, Hero HF Deluxe, Yamaha Saluto RX, Bajaj Platina and Bajaj CT100.
