TVS launched the BS6-compliant Star City in India a while ago. So here, we highlight the changes it gets that differentiate it from the previous model.
Pricing
TVS Motor Company is offering the Star City Plus BS6 in two variants- Mono tone and Dual tone priced at Rs 62,034 and Rs 62,534 (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. This is a premium of nearly Rs 7,500 over the BS4 models.
Updated styling
The Star City Plus BS6 gets a slight cosmetic revision to set it apart from the earlier model. The front end is sportier thanks to the lines and creases on the headlamp cowl which hold a full-LED headlamp. The motorcycle also gets new graphics and is available in a choice of five colours.
BS6 engine
Powering the Star City Plus BS6 is a fuel-injected 109cc engine that churns out 8bhp at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. The single-cylinder, air-cooled motor is mated to a four-speed gearbox.
New features
Apart from the LED headlamp, TVS has equipped the Star City Plus with new features like a USB charger, dual-tone seat, and five-step adjustable shocks at the rear.
Colours
The colour options for the Star City Plus BS6 include five, dual-tone options- Black/Blue, Black/Red, Grey/Black, White/Black. Red/Black.
