- Features White-Black dual-tone colour scheme signifying the festive season
- Also features dual-tone seat, mirrors and coloured shock absorbers
With the onset of the festive season, TVS Motor Company has launched the Special Edition version of the popular Star City Plus. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs 54,579 which is a premium of Rs 559 over the standard variant.
For the Special Edition variant, the Star City Plus features a White-Black dual-tone colour scheme to make the motorcycle look appealing. Besides that, it also receives dual-tone treatment for the seat and mirrors along with coloured shock absorbers.
On the mechanical front, the motorcycle remains the same. It continues to be powered by the same 110cc motor with TVS’ Ecothrust technology making it a frugal engine. The company claims that the engine is capable of returning a mileage of 86kmpl which is good for a 110cc commuter. Other features include an analogue speedometer and a digital information display. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is done by drum brakes at both ends and is equipped with SBT.
In its segment, the TVS Star City Plus faces direct rivalry from the Hero Passion XPro and Honda Dream Yuga.
