TVS has launched a special edition variant of the StaR City+ in India at Rs 48,934 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Called TVS StaR City+ Special Gold Edition, the motorcycle has been launched to commemorate the first anniversary of the launch of the commuter motorcycle.
The StaR City+ Special Gold Edition gets a funky paint scheme and new decals to set it apart from the standard motorcycle. While the motorcycle’s bodywork comes painted in white, the decals and the five-speed alloy wheels are finished in a gold paint scheme. The visor on top of the bikini fairing gets a gold TVS logo while the side frame cover comes finished in gold. TVS has also equipped the bike with tubeless tyres and an under seat USB mobile charger.

This variant builds on the superiority of TVS StaR City+, with Gold theme styling along with exciting new features like tubeless tyres and USB charger. Mechanically, the StaR City+ Special Gold Edition is identical to the standard motorcycle. It is powered by a 109cc single-cylinder engine which delivers 8bhp and 9Nm of torque through a four-speed gearbox. It competes with other 110cc commuter motorcycles like the Hero Splendor iSmart, Honda Dream Yuga, Bajaj Discover M and the Mahindra Centuro.
