After the launch of the Apache RTR200V and the Victor, TVS is gearing up to launch more versions of its most successful scooter – the Jupiter.
Currently, the company sells the Jupiter in two versions for the Indian market. In order to meet the growing demand of the scooters in India, the Hosur-based company will launch new versions of the Jupiter in the next few years. The sales of the Jupiter have been pretty good since the time it was launched, and in order to capitalize on this successful product, we can expect TVS to get more appealing versions of the Jupiter in terms of cosmetic changes and features.
The Jupiter has helped TVS increase its scooter market share to 15 per cent. In terms of overall sales, TVS sold 2.4 million units in the current fiscal year and plans to produce 4.2 million units by 2019.
