- TVS to launch new two-wheeler on 7 October
- Likely to be the Jupiter 125
- Could compete against the Suzuki Access 125
TVS Motor Company has released an image teasing an upcoming two-wheeler that is scheduled to be launched in India on 7 October. We expect this to be the new Jupiter 125.
And since the Hosur-based company already has the Ntorq 125 which is aimed at performance and younger riders, the Jupiter 125 could be a more family-focused scooter. While official details of the new scooter are unknown, it is expected to get a revised version of the Ntorq 125’s 124cc, 3-valve motor.
And as revealed on the teaser image, it is also likely to get LED lighting and a digital display possibly with Bluetooth connectivity. If these speculations are true, the new TVS Jupiter 125 will take on the Suzuki Access 125, Honda Activa 125, and Yamaha Fascino 125 in the country. As for pricing, we can expect it to cost around Rs 70,000-Rs 75,000 (ex-showroom).
