There’s finally a date for TVS’ upcoming scooter launch. The company will launch this new scooter which is likely to be a 125cc scooter on 5th February.
According to our sources, this upcoming scooter will be called the Ntorq 125. This name has some similarity to the Entorq 125 concept that was revealed at Auto Expo 2016. While TVS refused to talk about this concept’s future then, it’s clear that the Hosur-based company had some major plans for the 125cc scooter. Other than the name, there’s no other similarity. The concept was more like a maxi-scooter, whereas the Ntorq 125 will be a traditional scooter that will compete with the Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Grazia 125.
The company has released a teaser video as well, which reveals two aspects of the scooter, the sharp LED tail lights and the exhaust note that has a lot of bass in it. We’re expecting TVS to position this new scooter as a two-wheeler for the youth with its aggressive and trendy design.
We think TVS decided to launch their most awaited product just before the 2018 Auto Expo because the company might have some interesting product to showcase, at least in the concept form.
