- TVS to unveil special edition Ronin tomorrow
- Likely to be a custom scrambler
- Co-developed with Smoked Garage
TVS has released a teaser video on its social media channels. This video shows a bit of a special edition Ronin built in partnership with Smoked Garage – an Indonesia-based custom garage.
From the teaser video, it is pretty clear that both firms have made a custom Ronin. But the brand has made sure to release tiny bits of the bike. The bike gets a flat single seat. The rear tyre has an off-road profile, but a closer look revealed it as a proper flat-track tyre. However, the bike was seen with a front-brake lever - hardware usually not seen on flat-track motorcycles. But this Ronin could just get the aesthetics of a flat-tracker.
With its official unveil at MotoSoul, TVS could be making itself look like a brand open to experiments and exploring the world of customs. This route may help the brand become more aspirational – something needed in the world of premium motorcycles.
We are excited to see this bike in person and also ride it. Currently, there are no details about the pricing of this bike, but we can expect it to be launched as a limited-edition model, which means it will be priced a bit on the higher side.
