TVS is planning to launch its only electric scooter –the iQube in 20 more cities. Currently, the company sells this e-scooter in Bengaluru and Delhi.
The top honcho of the company announced their plans to expand the sales reach of this scooter to 20 more cities. However, the name of these cities are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to first make its way to metro cities followed by smaller regions. The Hosur-based company will also consider public charging infrastructure before launching the iQube.
Currently, Ather is the only modern electric scooter brand that has expanded its presence in many cities. Bajaj Chetak which is another new e-scooter is currently limited to Pune and Bengaluru. But as TVS makes its multi-city move, we can expect the Pune-based manufacturer to also go a little aggressive with its EV plans.
