TVS updates it official Apache Facebook cover picture to ‘2 days to go’

TVS has updated the cover picture of its official Apache Facebook page which says ‘2 days to go’. With this new update, it is likely that the company may launch a cosmetically updated version of one of its Apache motorcycle.

The company has three motorcycles under its ‘Apache’ brand name; Apache 160 Hyper Edge, Apache 180 and Apache 180 ABS. Out of this, the Apache 160 was cosmetically updated last year and launched as the Apache 160 Hyper Edge. However, the motorcycle has been met with a lukewarm response due to various reasons.

There is also a possibility that the company may unveil a new racing paint scheme which will be available with all the Apache motorcycles –a way with which the company wants to refresh the look of the Apache series.

There are also reports suggesting that TVS could unveil a 250cc motorcycle. However, this is unlikely to be true as they (TVS) recently had a technology agreement with BMW Motorrad to jointly develop sub-500cc motorcycle that is expected to be launched in 2015.
