TVS Motor Company has revived its famous motorcycle brand - the Victor in 110cc avatar. The new Victor will sit above the Star City Plus, serving in the executive mass market motorcycle segment.
The Victor is powered by a 109cc single cylinder engine that produces 9.4bhp at 7500rpm and maximum torque of 9.4Nm at 6000rpm. This engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox with an all up shift pattern. This engine has been tuned to deliver a good performance as well as maximum fuel efficiency, which the company claims stands at 76kmpl (ARAI). While its main focus was to provide an all-round bike when it comes to performance, the Hosur-based manufacturer has also worked a lot in terms of comfort.
The new Victor is built around the single cradle tubular frame, just like every other entry-level TVS motorcycle. The ride is taken care of by a telescopic suspension at the front and five step adjustable suspension in the rear. TVS is offering the Victor with two options for the front brakes – 240mm disc or 130mm drum. At the rear, a 110mm drum brake is offered as standard.
Talking about the Victor’s dimensions, the wheelbase stands at 1260mm. The bike is 1980mm long, 750mm wide and 1090mm tall. The ground clearance of 175mm is more than enough to tackle bad Indian roads. In terms of weight, the Victor tips the scale at 112kg for the drum brake version, while the disc brake variant is one kilogram heavier. Fuel tank capacity stands at 8 litres, which should be enough to take you 500kms before stopping having to make a fuel stop. The instrument cluster is pretty basic and doesn’t really add excitement to the overall package.
In order to appeal to more buyers, TVS is offering the new Victor in six colours – restful red, generous grey, blissful blue, balanced black red, serene silver and beatific black silver.
