After launching the facelifted Phoenix 125, TVS is gearing up to launch two motorcycles – the Victor and a premium bike, which we believe has been codenamed K03.
This information was revealed by Venu Srinivasan, MD, TVS during a press conference. The company believes that re-launching the Victor brand might help them gain additional market share in the growing mass market motorcycle segment. The TVS Victor used bring in good sales few years ago and the company is optimistic about its re-launch. The displacement of the Victor is not known yet, but we won’t be surprised to see TVS creating a new range of products under the Victor brand, be it a 100cc or a 125cc.
After the launch of the Victor motorcycle, the Hosur based company will introduce a premium motorcycle, which is believed to be the first product from the TVS-BMW alliance. This new bike is expected to be a street naked motorcycle and has been spied many times in Germany. While there is hardly any information available on this bike, we believe that this bike will be powered by a 300cc engine.
We are expecting the BMW version of this bike to be unveiled at the 2015 EICMA and only after that TVS will showcase its version in India. Both the bikes will be manufactured in India and exported globally.
