TVS Motor Company has decided to postpone the launch of the new Victor and a high-power premium bike, which we think is the new Apache RTR 160.
The Hosur-based manufacturer said that this decision was taken due to the good performance of the products launched in the last few months. It doesn’t want the new products to overshadow its old successful products. TVS is now planning to launch both these motorcycles in the first and the second quarters of FY 2015-2016. However, it did not disclose which motorcycle will be launched first.
TVS has also set a target to increase its market share to 14-14.5 per cent in the domestic market and 15 per cent in export, during the fourth quarter, while it is targeting a market share of about 18 per cent in the medium-term. The company’s last few launches like the Star City plus and the Scooty Zest have performed well in the market and that has helped TVS increase its overall market share.
Stay tuned to BikeWale as we get you more details on the new launches from TVS Motor Company.
