TVS is going to commence the customer deliveries of the new Victor on March 21. While we got the first taste of the commuter motorcycle a few weeks ago, the company had stopped short of launching the motorcycle across the country. Now though, TVS has officially started despatching the first batch of motorcycles to dealerships across the country.
TVS has completely revamped the new Victor, giving it a host of cosmetic and technological updates. The front gets a curvy headlamp and small bikini visor to cover the instrument cluster. The seating position has been optimised for comfort and the soft single-piece seat also helps this cause. The instrument cluster gets an analogue tachometer and a digital display, which integrates the speedometer, fuel gauge and the odometer.
At the heart of the new TVS Victor is a 110cc single-cylinder engine, which delivers 9bhp and 9Nm of torque through a four-speed transmission. The Victor comes with an ARAI-approved efficiency figure of 76kmpl, which should help it strike a chord with an audience looking for an efficient commuter motorcycle.
Dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the TVS Victor for a token amount of Rs 1,000. Prices start at Rs 49,490 for the base variant, while the alloy wheels and disc brakes variant retails at Rs 51,490 (both ex-showroom, Delhi).
