- TVS records sale of 2.49 lakh units last month
- Exports grows by 24 per cent
- BS6 Apache RTR 200 4V, 160 4V and Jupiter Classic introduced
TVS has recorded an 18.8 per cent decline in total sales for November 2019.
The manufacturer managed to sell 2.49 lakh motorcycles and scooters last month as compared to the 3.07 lakh units sold in the same month last year. In the domestic market, the sales fell from 2.60 lakh in November 2018 to 1.91 lakh in November 2019. Motorcycles contributed to 1.05 lakh units as against 1.19 lakh units in the same period in 2018. On the other hand, TVS scooters also saw a drop of 25 per cent going from 1.11 lakh in November 2019 to 84,169 in November 2018.
However, TVS witnessed a commendable 24 per cent growth in export market, increasing from 46,889 units in November last year to 58,128 units last month. The manufacturer recently introduced BS6 versions of the Apache RTR 200 4V and Apache RTR 160 4V along with the Jupiter Classic.
