TVS Motor Company has launched the XL 100 four stroke version in Madhya Pradesh. Priced at Rs 30,248, the XL 100 is TVS’ bread and butter model, with close to 50,000 sales every month.
The Hosur-based manufacturer has been launching the XL 100 four stroke in phased manner with North India being the first ones. The XL 100 has always been used as a utility two-wheeler rather than for comfort. Mainly targeted towards rural areas, the XL 100 can also be seen in metros being used by commercial establishments. Powering this moped is a 100cc engine that produces 4.1bhp that helps it attain a top speed of 60kmph. Talking about the fuel efficiency, TVS claims a 67kmpl for the XL 100 four stroke.
