TVS Motor Company has gone ahead and launched its new four-stroke XL 100 in four more Indian states. The four states to which TVS has made available the new XL are West Bengal, Orissa, Gujarat, and Assam.
The new XL 100 has been priced at Rs 30,613 (ex-showroom West Bengal), Rs 30,438 (ex-showroom Orissa), Rs 30,038 (ex-showroom Gujarat), and Rs 31,632 (ex-showroom Assam).
The all new TVS XL 100 is powered by a 99.7cc four stroke engine that produces 4bhp and has a top speed of 60kmph. The company claims an ARAI fuel efficiency of 67kmpl. The XL 100 comes with a broader seat. It also has a detachable rear seat with a robust rear flatbed platform to carry goods. The front platform is also wider and longer so as to enable more space. It also features a stronger and easier to use centre stand.
Commenting on the launch, J S Srinivasan, Vice President Sales and Service, TVS Motor Company said, "The all-new four-stroke moped TVS XL 100 has been designed to meet the evolving needs of today's customer and is one of the most affordable, reliable, easy to ride, powerful multi-utility two wheelers in the market. The all new TVS XL 100 comes in five colours of black, red, green, blue and grey.
