- BS6-compliant TVS Zest 110 to be launched soon
- Could demand a premium of Rs7,000- Rs 8,000
- Likely to get slightly revised power figure
TVS Motor Company has teased the Scooty Zest 110 BS6 on its website, suggesting that the scooter will be launched in India soon.
The Scooty Zest 110 BS4 was offered in two colour variants- Himalayan Highs and Matte series. While the Himalayan Highs was offered in a ‘Turqoise Blue’ colour, the Matte series consisted of five paint schemes- purple, blue, black, yellow and red. We can expect TVS to offer the same versions and colour schemes on the BS6 Scooty Zest 110.
The updated Scooty Zest 110 is also likely to carry forward features like the LED DRL, LED tail lamp, USB charging port, parking brake and dual-tone seat cover from the previous model. Its 109cc engine will also get a fuel-injection system to make it BS6-compliant. Moreover, these changes could result in a change in power figures as compared to the BS4 model which produced 7.8bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.4Nm at 5,500rpm.
While the BS4 Scooty Zest 110 was priced at Rs 52,525 for the Himalayan Highs version and Rs 54,025 (ex-showroom) we can expect the BS6 model to demand a premium of around Rs 7,000 to Rs 8,000.
