Twenty Two Motors has unveiled its first product for the Indian market - the Flow. Priced at Rs 74,740 (ex-showroom), the Flow is an electric scooter featuring smart connectivity options and a lithium ion battery.
Twenty Motors aims to develop powerful, feature-loaded and affordable electric mobility solutions. Their first product, the Flow, gives us an insight as to how they plan to go about it. The Flow is powered by a DC motor capable of propelling it to 60kmph. Powering the motor is a Li-ion battery storage which can be charged to its full capacity in just five hours. It even features energy regeneration sytem which recharges the battery while the scooter is going downhill and under braking. With a full charge, the Flow can cover 80 kilometres. An impressive aspect about the Flow is that Twenty Two has managed to restrict the weight to 85 kilograms.
The features list consists of programmable LED Lamps, electronic brake force distribution, cruise control, take me home mode and even a reverse mode. It even gets bluetooth connectivity and a geofencing system which monitors the scooter's movement and slerts the owner when it goes out of the predefined area.
The Twenty Two Flow will be manufactured at the Twenty Two Motors facility in Bhiwadi, Haryana. Their first 'experience centre' will come up in Gurgaon.
