Under a joint initiative by Elite Octane and Rickey Gadson, two riders have been selected to represent India in the world finals of Motorcycle Drag Racing, for the first time. The selected riders are Sundeep Sokhi and Amit Sharma and the finals will be held between 15-18 November in Valdosta, US.
Elite Octane organises drag racing events in India and it is approved by the Federation of Motor Sport Clubs of India (FMSCI). In association with Rickey Gadson, who is an eleven-time drag race champion, Elite Octane had conducted the first session of Rickey Gadson Drag Racing School at The Valley Run 2017. The event was to promote drag racing in India and help riders hone their skills.
To take this initiative forward, Elite Octane has selected two Indian riders who will undergo training in the US and will be representing our country at the Motorcycle Drag Racing. They will train and compete astride the Kawasaki ZX14R, customised specially for the racing event.
