The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is all set to go on sale in the European Union after receiving the necessary certifications. Ultraviolette says the F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle has the L3e certificate and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) certification. These certifications allow the F77 Mach 2 for road use in 40 countries around the world, including the European Union.
Following the certifications, Ultraviolette has also announced that the F77 Mach 2 will bear an introductory price tag of € 9,990 or Rs 9.06 lakh. The company is preparing to make a splash at the EICMA 2024 which will be held in Italy in November.
The F77 Mach 2 will be sold in Germany and Turkey during the initial phase, followed by other countries. The company had recently commenced shipments to Europe from its factory in India.
Ultraviolette had recently launched the F77 Mach 2 in India. The electric motorcycle has a 27kW permanent magnet AC motor while the Recon variant gets a 30kW motor. The F77 Mach 2 Recon can sprint from 0-60kmph in 2.8 seconds and 0-100kmph in 7.7 seconds. The top speed of both models is 155kmph.
The standard bike has a 7.1kWh battery, while the Recon variant has a bigger 10.3kWh battery. They have an IDC range of 211km and 323km, respectively. Prices of the F77 Mach 2 start at Rs 2.99 lakh, ex-showroom.
