The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is India's fastest and most expensive electric motorcycle. We recently tested the bike and came away impressed. The F77 Mach 2 is a looker and it's worth giving a good glance at its pictures.
Although it is the fastest electric motorcycle in India, the F77 Mach 2 can put a lot of ICE motorcycles to shame with its radical and futuristic styling.
It looks like a proper sportbike with sharp and forward-swept side fairings, low-slung headlamp, and a pointed raked tail. The unique fork covers further add to the swanky styling.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 does not just look fast but is also capable of attaining a top speed of 155kmph.
The standard model is powered by a permanent magnet AC motor that delivers 27kW of power and a peak torque of 90Nm. Meanwhile, the Mach 2 Recon variant offers an output of 30kW and 100Nm from its electric motor. The standard gets a 7.1kWh battery pack while the Recon gets a 10.3kWh battery pack.
Ultraviolette has also equipped the F77 Mach 2 with a bunch of contemporary features. All the data about the bike is shown on a TFT screen that gets Bluetooth connectivity and other fancy bits like brightness adjustability.
The motorcycle gets 10 levels of regenerative braking and four levels of traction control system. Apart from the above-mentioned features, the F77 Mach 2 variants get three ride modes, a five-inch TFT, auto-dimming lights, hill hold, ABS, and dynamic stability control.
Other features include a full-LED lighting system, three riding modes, a 3kW fast charger (optional), parking assist, a document storage compartment, and dual-channel ABS.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 standard variant is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Mach 2 Recon costs Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom). That makes it more expensive than the likes of the KTM 390 Duke or the Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, which offers similar or slightly better performance and top speed.
