Ultraviolette recently launched its updated electric motorcycle offering, the F77 Mach 2. Now, the Bengaluru-based EV-maker is offering it in two variants – Standard and Recon – and as many as nine colour options – Lighting Blue, Asteroid Grey, Turbo Red, Afterburner Yellow, Stealth Grey, Cosmic Black, Plasma Red, Supersonic Silver, and Stellar White.
But how different are the two F77 Mach 2 variants? Here is the explanation.
F77 Mach 2 Standard
This is the entry-level model in the entire Ultraviolette electric motorcycle range. It is priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru) and gets a 27kW peak power motor linked to a 7.1kWh battery. The setup offers a 155kmph top speed and 211km of maximum range. Then, it gets three levels of regenerative braking with three years or 60,000km of UV Care warranty.
Even its charging time is 45 minutes for 20 to 80 percent. Since the F77 Mach 2 has a smaller battery, it weighs 197kg which is 10kg less than the Mach 2 Recon.
F77 Mach 2 Recon
On the other hand, the F77 Mach 2 Recon is priced at Rs. 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). It features a 30kW motor and 10.3kWh battery that offers a 155kmph top speed and 323km of range. The F77 Mach 2 Recon has notably more range than the base mode. It also gets 10 regenerative braking levels and four traction control system levels.
Further, the Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 Recon has a five-year or 1,00,000km warranty. Its 20 to 80 percent charging time is an hour, and the Mach 2 Recon tips the scale at 207kg.
Apart from the above-mentioned aspects, the F77 Mach 2 variants get three ride modes, a five-inch TFT, auto-dimming lights, hill hold, ABS, and dynamic stability control.
