Ultraviolette Automotive has taken its first step towards venturing into International markets by showcasing its F77 electric motorcycle at the Motobike Istanbul 2024 show. The company is displaying the F77 at the K-RIDES pavilion. K-RIDES is part of Kibar Holding, an industrial conglomerate in Turkey and will be responsible for the sales and distribution of the F77, when it is officially launched.
Ultraviolette's co-founder and CEO Narayan Subramaniam said that when the F77 was launched in India, they received interest in the motorcycle from 190 countries. Ultraviolette feels that this indicates significant demand for electric motorcycles in international markets and showcasing the F77 at Motobike Istanbul 2024 marks a significant step forward in their global expansion plans.
The Ultraviolette F77 is the fastest, made-in-India electric motorcycle and it boasts of some pretty impressive numbers. The claimed 0-60kmph time is 2.9 seconds only and it can hit a top speed of 152kmph. Powering the motor is a 10.3kWh battery pack.
