-Could be a faster variant of the F77
-Could be derived from the F99 concept
-Expect to see a powerful motor among other changes
Ultraviolette Automotive has sent out invites for the launch of an electric motorcycle on 24 April. While details about the said motorcycle are scarce at this time ,the invite suggests Ultraviolette stepping into the “next chapter of performance.”
This could possibly mean that Ultraviolette may launch a faster version of the F77 electric motorcycle. At present, the Ultraviolette F77 is the quickest, made-in-India electric motorcycle. It has a 27kW motor that develops 85Nm and can propel the bike to a claimed top speed of 140kmph. We could see the faster variant of the F77 to feature a more powerful motor that could enable the bike to hit a much higher top speed.
Besides a more powerful motor, we could also see the F77 to get some of the goodies from the F99 prototype that was showcased at EICMA 2023. Perhaps a new colourway and downforce generating wings might be seen on the faster F77.
The rest of the bike, be it the chassis, suspension, brakes etc. could be the same as on the current bike. This should be the case with the features list as well.
The Ultraviolette F77 is priced at Rs 3.8 lakh to 4.55 lakh. Expect the faster verison to cost a few thousands more.
