UM Motorcycles brought some motorcycles from their line-up at the Auto Expo. The America-based company will soon enter the Indian motorcycle market this year and plans to fully manufacture the products in our country.
Though designed in the US, the motorcycles will be built at their manufacturing facility which will be based out of Gurgaon-NCR area. Our sources tell us that 30-40 per cent spare parts will also be manufactured in our country.
UM motorcycles will launch bikes ranging from 150cc to 223cc probably this September. The motorcycles will be placed in the premium segment but competitively priced. The company will set up showrooms in the metro cities first.
