- Spied multiple times before
- More details revealed in the latest spy shots
A new Bajaj offering has been spotted testing and this is believed to be the 125cc iteration of the Pulsar N series. Notably, this is not the first time the motorcycle has been spied on, however, the latest spy shots give a better look at its design than before.
Although the test mule was camouflaged, as can observed in the spy images, some part of the tail section, frame, and sub frame was visible. It is expected to be underpinned by a diamond-type frame which does duty on many existing models in the Pulsar family. We can also see the blue-coloured tail section which confirms one paint scheme that the N125 will be available in. Other decipherable hardware details include 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, a monoshock, a box-type swingarm, a disc-drum brake setup, a split-type seat, and a tubular single-piece handlebar.
It’s highly likely that Bajaj will use the same engine as the existing Pulsar NS125 for this offering. This 124.5cc, air-cooled motor produces 11.82bhp and 11Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The company might change the tuning to some extent to suit the N125’s character. Moreover, the instrument cluster will mostly be the same LCD dash that has been introduced in the new Pulsar 150. Interestingly, this display is Bluetooth-enabled.
We expect the Bajaj Pulsar N125 to be launched around the festive season this year. It could be priced close to the Pulsar 125 and the NS125 which cost Rs. 95,000 and Rs. 1.04 lakh, respectively (ex-showroom).
