- Will feature a new digital instrument console
- Powered by an E20-compliant engine
- Hardware is to remain the same
A newly surfaced video on YouTube has revealed loads of information about the upcoming updated Bajaj Pulsar N160. From its features to hardware, design, and more, we now know what to expect from the updated Pulsar.
The upcoming Pulsar N160 will retain its design from the current model. So, the LED projector flanked by eye-brow-like LED DRLs, the sporty yet commuter styling, and the overall bodywork remain as it is. But the Chakan-based bikemaker will offer a fully digital cluster with smartphone connectivity for the new Pulsar N160. It will replace the older semi-digital unit and offer access to data like calls and SMS alerts.
The Bajaj Pulsar N160 will be powered by a 164.82cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine that will be E20 compatible. The output is likely to remain the same as before – 15.68bhp at 8,750rpm and 14.65Nm at 6,750rpm. The motor will be linked to a five-speed gearbox.
Its hardware includes telescopic front forks and a monoshock while the braking duties are done by a single front and rear disc with dual-channel ABS. These are mounted on 17-inch wheels wrapped in road-biased tyres. We also expect Bajaj to introduce a few new paint schemes for the updated Pulsar N160.
Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar N160 retails at Rs. 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). But with the small updates that it’s set to be launched with, the asking price could be hiked slightly.
