- Will get a new fully digital instrument console
- Likely to retain the design, hardware, and engine
- Asking price could increase by a few thousand rupees
Bajaj has been gradually revamping its Pulsar lineup as we have witnessed in the past few months. After the 160 and 200 offerings that were recently launched with new features, it seems that the Pulsar 250s could be next in line.
The upcoming Bajaj Pulsar N250 has been spotted with a new fully digital display. It appears similar to the one that was recently introduced on the Pulsar NS200. So, you can expect the Pulsar N250 to get smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and more features. It will also carry all-LED illumination along with ABS.
We expect Bajaj to carry over the N250’s design from before since it is relatively fresh and new. So, a major refresh would only be needed after a few years and in this case, the N250 was launched just in late 2021.
Even the engine on the upcoming model is unlikely to change. We expect Bajaj to power the N250 with the same 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine that delivers 24.1bhp and 21.5Nm of peak torque. This motor will be linked to a five-speed gearbox and benefit from a slip-and-assist clutch.
Moreover, the hardware too will be altered slightly and Bajaj is likely to equip the updated N250 with USD front forks instead of the previous telescopic units. The rear monoshock and the single disc at both ends are unlikely to change.
With the new features and hardware, we expect Bajaj to hike the asking price for the N250 by a notable amount. For reference, the previous model costed Rs. 1.50 lakh and the upcoming one would demand about Rs. 10,000 more. Once launched, it will rival the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
