- Benelli 700cc streetfighter to be unveiled soon
- Expected to be launched as a QJ Motor model first
- Could be launched in India by 2022
Benelli is building its arsenal with some new motorcycles. While we recently reported about the 302R and TNT 600i being spotted, an image of the company’s all-new streetfighter has also been leaked.
Expected to be launched as a QJ Motor (Benelli’s Chinese parent company) model first, sources claim that it is named the SRK700. Now, this motorcycle gets an aggressive styling with vague inspiration from the Kawasaki Z1000. It features a low-slung, full-LED headlamp with a muscular fuel tank that sports bold creases. Furthermore, the tail section also looks sharp and has a split-seat setup.
Nevertheless, the tubular steel frame is unique to the SRK700 and houses a 693cc, parallel-twin engine that is good for 75bhp. And to top it off, the upcoming Benelli streetfighter also has a respectable kerb weight of 192kg. And like other QJMotor models, the SRK700 features Marzocchi forks and Brembo brakes. That said, the motorcycle could be unveiled as a re-badged Benelli by the end of this year likely making its way to India by 2022.
