- Teaser reveals adjustable suspension
- To be priced around Rs 2.90 lakh
- Will be launched on 15 July
The BMW G310 RR is set to be launched in India on 15 July. And as the date nears, the manufacturer is revealing key details about the upcoming motorcycle that is based on the TVS Apache RR 310.
While the previous teasers revealed that the motorcycle will sport the same bodywork as the latter and come offered in two colour schemes, the new teaser has revealed that the BMW G310 RR will be offered with fully-adjustable suspension like the RR 310 BTO. It could also get the race handlebar and rear-set footpegs too.
Although, it is unclear whether BMW will be offering these as standard on the G310 RR ‘Race’ or as optional equipment. Well, that said, the image also reveals that the upcoming motorcycle will ride on Michelin Pilot Sport tyres like its naked sibling and not get the premium Michelin Road 5s that have proven their mettle on the Apache RR 310.
However, it will come powered by a 312cc, single-cylinder engine that is good for 34bhp and 27Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. In terms of features, the BMW G310 RR is expected to come with the same tech as its TVS counterpart but will demand a premium pricing. We can expect it to cost around Rs 2.90 lakh, ex-showroom which will position it higher than the TVS Apache RR 310’s Rs 2.65 lakh pricing.
