- BMW G310 RR to be launched on 15 July
- To be available in two colours
- Based on the TVS Apache RR 310
BMW Motorrad India is scheduled to launch the full-faired G 310 RR in the country on 15 July and has been revealing details of the motorcycle through teasers. And the latest video tells us that it will be offered in two colour options.
First up, there is the iconic BMW white colour scheme that has been teamed with red and blue accents on the fairing and front end. Then there is a full-black paint with white highlights. The teaser reveals that it sports bold ‘RR’ graphics on the side. Moreover, unlike the TVS Apache RR 310’s red frame- the bike it is based on- the G 310 RR is likely to get a black frame. Well, that said, the BMW motorcycle is expected to sport the same bodywork as the TVS Apache RR 310 complete with full-LED lighting and aggressive styling.
It will also come with a 312cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out a healthy 34bhp and 27.3Nm. This motor, which comes mated to a six-speed gearbox is the same on the BMW G310 R, G310 GS as well as the TVS Apache RR 310. Now, it is yet to be seen whether the BMW G310 RR will get the bucketload of features and tech the TVS version comes with.
