- KTM spotted testing the 250 Adventure again
- Gets the same headlight as older KTM 250 Duke
- Likely to be launched by end of 2020
KTM has been spotted testing the 250 Adventure once again. The bike is likely to be launched in India by end of 2020.
The newest spy shots confirm that the motorcycle will sport the same headlamp as the older KTM 250 Duke which featured a halogen bulb and LED DRL. On the other hand, the new 250 Duke gets a full-LED setup like the 390 Duke.
The KTM 250 Adventure is based on the 390 Adventure’s platform and will share the same frame and most of its bodywork but will miss out on features like traction control and ride-by-wire throttle to keep costs in check. However, it will come with switchable ABS and a TFT instrument cluster unlike the LCD unit on the 250 Duke. Powering the upcoming 250 Adventure will be a 248cc, single-cylinder that produces around 30bhp and 24Nm.
We can expect KTM to launch the 250 Adventure in India by the end of 2020. It will compete against the Hero Xpulse 200 as well as the Royal Enfield Himalayan in the country.
